Creating shared items

Shared items are the core of the Multiboard Items app. They allow you to have the same item on multiple boards, and keep them in sync.

The process of creating shared items is very simple. Navigate to the item you want to share across multiple boards, and open up the Multiboard Items app. From there, find the board(s) you want to share the item with, and click the "Share" button.

After this, any updates made on one item in the group will be shared to all of the other items in real time.

Note: Columns are matched between boards based on their name and type. For example, if Board 1 has a column named "Status" of type "status," the corresponding columns on other boards with shared items will be updated. If a column with the same name and type does not exist on a board, the value will be ignored for that board.
